Khalil McMillan was West Philadelphia born/Bensalem raised. After studying and performing Theatre at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, he moved back to Philly and has since done a variety of commercial, stage, film, voiceover, and model work. His most recent and upcoming credits include short film Aluminum Heart and Neil Labute’s The Shape of Things next year at The Eagle Theatre. He is extremely excited and thankful for the opportunity to be a part of The Kidney’s tremendously talented cast and would like to thank his Aunt for her unconditional love and support.
Shaira Barton has been performing since she got her first lead role at the age of five. She has been an Actor, Model, TV Host and Voiceover talent in the English and Spanish markets, working alongside known names and Academy Award winners. She has landed versatile roles which can be seen internationally on Netflix’s House of Cards as well as HBO, Warner Brothers Pictures, Disney, FOX, NBC, UPN, CW, FPA; in Latin America’s Univision and Telemundo, along with screenings around the nation, and in Canada. In addition, she has performed in national commercials, and Public Service Announcements; and collaborated with known brands like Black & Decker, Strayer University, City Center, Kutra Spa and BG&E. Being bilingual and having an ethnically ambiguous look, she adds international appeal to any project.
Alexandra Tydings was born on December 15, 1972 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA. She is an actress, known for The Sunchaser (1996), Hercules and Xena – The Animated Movie: The Battle for Mount Olympus (1998) and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995). She is married to Ben Luzzatto. They have two children.
Kelly Dowdle is a proud 80’s baby born in Oklahoma City, OK. Quickly transplanting to Texas – where she was a native for next 20 years – Kelly developed her southern charm and bohemian vibe, which lead to several national commercial bookings that sparked her career and love for the big screen. Following this artistic journey, Kelly began acting training at The University of Texas at Austin – finding her way through TV, film and sorority life. Graduating with honors from UT, Kelly also explored her love for music and began singing regularly in Downtown Austin. Gaining an unstoppable momentum in the film world, Kelly headed out west to LA – where she is happy to now call home.
Kelly has several features under her belt and is a triple threat – looks, brains and voice! From her start in BIG MOMMA’S HOUSE PART II to her most recent recurring role as Nicole Brown Simpson in Ryan Murphy’s AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE PEOPLE VS OJ SIMPSON opposite Cuba Gooding Jr., Kelly has found her stride. She has her film she stars in TO HAVE AND TO KILL coming out this Fall and since then has wrapped two films set to come out early 2017. Rest assured, there is plenty more to come from this curly haired, sultry voiced vixen with the million dollar smile…much more to come!
After graduating from N.Y.U. and the Actor’s Studio, Johnny Alonso has worked on countless projects that all started with a one year recurring on the soap opera All My Children as Seth. From there many gigs followed: a guest starring role on Homicide as David Scholtz, a contract speaking role on Rules of Engagement as Kurt who gets into it with Samuel L. Jackson. Johnny also booked a core guest starring lead on ABC’s Growing Pains Reunion II as Mickey, and played Axe the bass playing/careless boyfriend next to Rachel Leigh Cooke in the movie Stateside. Johnny also played the core lead character Johnny Kowolski on the award winning 12 part educational PBS series Number’s Alive! Alonso’s was a WB/CW Network actor for 3 seasons with his 8 episode recurring role on Dawson’s Creek as the snide junior stock broker Jimmy Franco, and his 6 episode guest core recurring on One Tree Hill as the fast talking band manager Joey D. Johnny was featured as a guest starring role on A Haunting as the estranged Mike Esperanza and starred in the Los Angeles film Coffin, which spotlights his skills as the dark character Trick next to actors Kevin Sorbo and Bruce Davison. In the western picture Day of the Gun Johnny plays the horse riding/off centered Charlie Chaplin type Town Mortician. Johnny just guest starred on the ID television series House of Horrors as William, one of the main kidnappers in this dark story. Currently Johnny is working on the hit FOX show Gotham as the recurring role Kazz, bass player in Penguin’s house band at Oswald’s Nightclub. A featured role which has planted him in seasons I and II. He has worked with director Martin Scorcese on the new HBO series The Untitled Rock and Roll Project as Gibby, bass player in a New York City rock band that transitions into punk rock 1976. Johnny’s love for languages booked him as Corporal Fiato the Italian speaking soldier that translates for the American Army in the upcoming WWII History Channel documentary Disaster on Hill 772 March 28, 1943. Johnny plays Jack Pappas the pool shark hustler in the new feature Masse. You can also hear Johnny’s voice over work as he guides you thru the exhibit Remember The Children as the voice of Daniel at the Smithsonian Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. His voice has guided millions of visitors thru this Smithsonian exhibit since the museum’s opening day. Alonso was also involved with the Emmy award winning show NASA 360 as one of the main hosts shooting over 30 episodes in the span of 3 seasons. This series shot all over the world. One of the coolest gigs to date.
Hitting his stride this actor has worked non-stop on many other series and projects including Forbidden, the F.B.I. Files, The Passing, True Crime with Aphrodite Jones, Nightmare Next Door, Sky Mall (Fall 2014), Good People, Click on This, City of Lost Souls, Walk of Shame and the new horror picture Terrortory. Alonso is also one of the main hosts of the Emmy award winning series NASA 360.
Erin O’Brien is originally from New Jersey. She began studying at the William Esper Studio in New York. After working on a number of independent films on the east coast she made the move to LA in 2011. Since making the move to LA she has worked on a number of films, most recently she can be seen in the internationally released movie Fight Valley along side UFC champions Holly Holm & Miesha Tate. She is thrilled to be a part of such an amazing cast in the upcoming film The Kidney.
Vincent Young, an American actor, was born and raised in Philadelphia and South Jersey. He is known by millions for portraying colorful characters, most notably his breakthrough role, as the troubled Noah Hunter from the original TV series Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990) (1997-2000). Vincent went on to other intriguing character roles on CSI: NY (2004), JAG (1995) and NCIS (2003) in which he played Mikel Mawher, the crazy and eccentric ex-boyfriend of Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette).
Vincent started his career in NYC studying theater and performing on stage, yet found his way as an artist while residing in Paris. He lived in LA for 16 years and has since moved back to the east coast to continue his love of acting, with his recent character portrayal of memorable Bud Lunger in the award-winning independent film, Eagles in the Chicken Coop (2010). As a multi-faceted artist, Vincent is a painter and an accomplished wrestler and baseball player in which he regards as a differing form of artistic expression. He also keeps himself available for various charities.
CHRISTOPHER MANN is best known for his role as Councilman Tony Gray on the classic HBO drama series The Wire.
He made his television debut on an episode of Homicide: Life on the Street. His many guest appearances since have included ones on Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Heroes, Blue Bloods and Those Who Kill to name a few. He produced and starred in the series The Underground Kings; and recurs on House of Cards as the Secretary of Energy.
Mr. Mann’s feature credits include three films for writer/director Tony Gilroy: Michael Clayton, Duplicity, and The Bourne Legacy. He associate produced and co-starred in the film, But Deliver Us From Evil. The film will be released in January 2017. Another film he co-stars in, Voiceless (a faith based drama) is scheduled to be released in October of this year. Mr. Mann also has a supporting lead in the much anticipated release of the feature film, Loving. This film opened recently to rave reviews at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. Focus Features will release “Loving” in theaters on November 4th, 2016.
